Birthday Fishes!

Sometimes you see something on Pinterest that sparks an idea for a card. This is an iPhone case I saw:

source: society6

How cute is that case? This is my second card for the Watercolor Blog Hop. Thanks to Paulina for putting this wildly successful hop together. So many beautiful cards!

The yellow fish is Stampendous, the medium fish is Mari and Me, and the smallest snorkeling fish did not have a company name on the wood mount, probably because it's so tiny. I would guess Mari and Me or Taj Clubhouse. The sentiment was computer generated. Banner die is from My Favorite Things Blueprints 20, twine and sequins are Pretty Pink Posh. Embossing folder is Tim Holtz. Water was colored with Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. Fish were colored with Zig clean color pens.

Brushed Wink of Stella over the water. Sparkly!

Found an old Stampin' Up stamp for the inside from Little Hellos (2003) and used colored pencils since it's stamped on cardstock.

Thanks for taking the time to visit!
