Poppystamps Tree Triptych Snowy Birthday

Joining Shopping Our Stash for the last challenge of the year, Winter Wonderland. Create a non-Christmas winter card!

Just sent this card to my Aunty who is 80-something. Although she lives in Hawaii she is from Japan and has experienced snow. Hope it gets there in time, by New Year's Day!

This card was fun to assemble. I usually use the Stampin' Up! Softly Falling embossing folder this way. Feels like most of the snow has fallen and is on the ground. Flip it, and it looks like a snowstorm. I wonder how most crafters like to use this folder. The debossed snow is on the inside of this top-folded card. I doubled up the red cardstock on the cardinals since I knew they would not be on a flat surface.

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp Happy (sentiment)
Dies: Poppystamps Tree Triptych, Impression Obsession Cardinals
Misc: Stampin' Up! Softly Falling embossing folder

Hope your Christmas was wonderful. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I saw your card in the entries at Shopping Our Stash and wanted to let you know how much I admire this clean and simple design! The triptych die is so cool - I'll have to search for that one! :) The white-on-white with the pops of red is an elegant look. It's a fabulous card and I'm sure your aunt will love it!
