OCC Copic Markers for Card Makers Day 8

What a remarkable class this has been! So cool that we were provided with images to practice on, the same images used in the class videos. I have chosen a purple and a pink crocus for this card.

Day 8 - Cards Using Practice Sheet Images

The yellow border on the oval is colored with the same yellow markers used in the flower centers. What a great technique! The only way I could do this was to cut an oval larger than the opening, color and blend all around the edge. Cut a smaller oval out of it, then glued the yellow oval frame to the card front before embossing. I didn't want to try to glue that narrow frame to the front after embossing thinking it would be hard to get it glued down on the embossed surface. A few Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins completed the card. Oh, and I clipped the pink flower's leaf and put it on the other side.
