#RoyalChallenge Day 4

Fun card yesterday, somber card today. Day 4, and I needed to make a card for my uncle and his family. My aunty passed away, but since the card is going to my uncle and his two sons I wanted to make the card masculine, something I struggle with.

Had to enbiggen (a Julie Ebersole term, love her!) this card since the pieces I inlaid are so small I wanted to make sure you could see every little piece, lol! Call me crazy, but I do love the challenge of making cards like this. Not sure I'm happy with the sentiment on this card, but couldn't find a more Times New Roman-like font in the Stampin' Up! kits I have that are current. I do like the accent pieces I used from the leftover black medallion.

Stampin' Up! Eastern Medallions
Stampin' Up! Soft Suede cardstock
Stampin' Up! Crushed Curry cardstock
Stampin' Up! Old Olive cardstock
Stampin' Up! Flourishing Phrases (sentiment)

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. This is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, Sheryl! So much time and skill went into making this so perfect. I'm sure it will be appreciated by your uncle and his sons. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Lovely card; sorry for your loss. Wondering whether you used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets for adhering, or the fine tip glue. Bonnie W

    1. Hi Bonnie,
I prefer Scor-Tape for inlaid designs. I buy the wide roll and cut to size.
