InKing Royalty One Word: Vacation

Welcome to InKing Royalty's August Blog Hop! This year's Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word - and this month our projects are centered around VACATION. While many are reminiscing about their summer vacations, others are looking forward to the long weekend just around the corner. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I honestly purchased the Seasonal Layers dies for this adirondack chair. So cool that it looks like it could be facing you or turned away. Either way it says vacation to me. If we're vacationing at the beach you'll find me at water's edge at sunset, every night if possible. The tropical leaves are in two shades of green, and the background is blended with brushes.

Stamps: Country Home (enjoy)
Dies: Seasonal Layers, Tropical, Rectangle Stitched framelits
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive
Inks: Pumpkin Spice, Calypso Coral, Pineapple Punch, Pear Pizzazz

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you'll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jennifer Spiller at Westside Paper. There's lots of inspiration to be found in this group - and you don't want to miss it!

Enjoy the hop!

  6. From our InKing Royalty fb group: Pam Berinato Morris ".I feel so bad that I can’t leave a comment on your blog. I don’t know why I always have trouble but I have to let you read what I was trying to post. “Sheryl! This card is amazing! I just love your blended background and it’s soothing colors. And you blew my mind with the chair...I always saw it facing away from me but I can totally see it both ways now!”

  7. From our InKing Royalty fb group: Sue Connell Jackson "Sheryl, I couldn't leave a comment on your blog, but I agree that now I will never see that chair as just one way. It's like an optical illusion. So cool!"
