InKing Royalty Blog Hop: Christmas

Welcome to InKing Royalty's December Blog Hop! This year's Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word - and this month our projects are centered around CHRISTMAS. It's a wonderful time of year, and we are having lots of fun with our Christmas-themed projects. We are so excited to share them with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

In love with Winter Woods and the coordinating dies. This is my very first time playing with it! I thought this is a perfect set for a dimensional card, hence the Z-fold. I added two inner bands for the trees for some depth. It was my first time playing with the Frost White too, and wow, it's fantastic! I added a little to the tree tips, and colored the winter tree dies. It was the right touch to give the trees a little pop to stand out against the background.

View from the front as I envisioned it, with the spacing of the trees. There are two stick tree dies. I did some "pruning" on the second and fourth tree to change them up a bit. Changed up the lighting to create some shadows.

Top shot with the two tabs in the square area.

Finally, a closed view, thanks to my sister who wanted more views when we texted. I didn't even think to photograph this card closed! Had to use a bunch of washi tape to hold it down, lol!

Stamps: Winter Woods
Dies: In the Woods
Inks: Smoky Slate, Poppy Parade, Frost White
