Springtime means flowers, and it's a great time to break out To a Wild Rose. I love the texture and layering of colors! Poppy Parade and Real Red was a nice subtle combination on the Rose. I did stamp off the Real Red for a softer blend. The leaves are Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. As with the rose, I stamped off Mossy Meadow.
You've probably already guessed what I used to emboss the background. Lacking an embossing folder, I used one of the Wild Rose dies, ran it through about five times. I do love that stitched label die, looks good white on white.
This card will be going to Stan's aunt Mary. She just had a mild stroke, everyone is concerned about her. This sentiment from Positive Thoughts is perfect!
