Springtime InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty's April Blog Hop! During this year's blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month's projects celebrate Springtime, so I hope you are ready for gorgeous Spring colors, flowers and butterflies - and maybe some sweet baby animals. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Springtime means flowers, and it's a great time to break out To a Wild Rose. I love the texture and layering of colors! Poppy Parade and Real Red was a nice subtle combination on the Rose. I did stamp off the Real Red for a softer blend. The leaves are Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. As with the rose, I stamped off Mossy Meadow.

You've probably already guessed what I used to emboss the background. Lacking an embossing folder, I used one of the Wild Rose dies, ran it through about five times. I do love that stitched label die, looks good white on white.

This card will be going to Stan's aunt Mary. She just had a mild stroke, everyone is concerned about her. This sentiment from Positive Thoughts is perfect!

Stamps: To a Wild Rose, Positive Thoughts
Dies: Wild Rose
Inks: Poppy Parade, Real Red, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you'll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, the amazing Julie DiMatteo at ThePaper Pixie. The creativity in this group is inspiring; I can't wait to join you as we visit each stop!

  1. I like the texture on this card, and I love the bold and stark white background. Your images "pop" next to the white. Thanks for sharing this lovely card.
