InKing Royalty Halloween blog hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty's September Blog Hop! During this year's blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations - this month's projects are all about Halloween. Prepare yourself for wonderful mix of spooky, scary and sweet. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

A black cat on a fence with a full moon says Halloween to me. To make it more so I added a frame with the rectangle stitched framelits so I could stringart cobwebs in the corners. It has been terribly smoky up here in the Pacific Northwest due to so many fires, so I chose a crumb cake background. The fence is made with 1/2" strips and the banners pick a punch. I do love that punch, and the cat punch!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you'll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Shawn de Oliveira at Shawn Stamps. There's lots of inspiration to be found in this group - and you don't want to miss it!

  3. Really cute Sheryl - all of it. The fence and the string art cob webs are both really creative, and everything works together for a beautiful card. I hope you are safe from the fires and the smoke.

    1. Thank you so much, Linda! We are good, staying inside. Heart breaks for everyone affected by the fires and concerned for those fighting it.

    1. Thank you, Sue! I used regular tape on the tails. It's surprisingly easy! Let me know if you have any questions.

    1. I love that you want to case the string art! Our stitched dies are perfect for it. I skip a stitch because I don't want the edges to tear away. Also, I use one strand of embroidery floss and a thin needle. Would love to see what you make!
