InKing Royalty Thanksgiving Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty's October Blog Hop! During this year's blog hops we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month's projects celebrate Thanksgiving, so you'll enjoy Autumn landscapes, warm colors and sweet reminders of all the reasons we have to be grateful this time of year. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

We are grateful for friends and family, perhaps now more than ever. Love this sentiment from Country Home.

Forever Fern is one of my favorite sets. Very pretty inked up in many different color combinations, can't wait to try more! My Thanksgiving wreath is in fall colors: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Mossy Meadow.

The thin strip is made from a Smooth Sailing die, layered on a strip of cardstock colored with Pumpkin Pie ink.

Stamps: Forever Fern, Country Home (sentiment)
Dies: Forever Flourishing, Sailing Home
Embossing Folder: Pinewood Planks

  3. Wow! Your wreath is beautiful, and the sentiment fits perfectly. I also like the embossed background, and the strip and paper "rope thing" are a great touch to pull everything together. Lovely!

    1. Thank you, Linda! So happy that the sentiment just fit in one of the circle dies. I'll have to remember I have that rope die for future cards, and what set it's in!

  6. I have tried so many times to make a beautiful wreath with leaves that weren't designed for a wreath, but I've never been successful. THIS is a super-successful showcase with these leaves. Such a beauty, Sheryl! ♥

    1. Thank you so much, Brian! The leaves in this set are so much fun to play with. I put temporary adhesive behind the circle and just kept playing with it until it looked right to me. Your comments always make my day.
