InKing Royalty Flowers & Fauna Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty's March Blog Hop! During this year's blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites - our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month's projects feature Flowers & Fauna, a brilliant starting point for so many projects. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

This might be my favorite theme! I have lots of flowers, birds, and trees in my collection. This sprig of cherry blossoms is so pretty!

Side-step cards are so much fun to make, and not very hard if you have a paper trimmer like the Stampin' Up! one that can make a cut midway up the cardstock. A few score lines, and you're done! I stamped the hummingbird on thick whisper white, then stamped another one. Fussy cut them both, then glued them stacked one on each side of the card front for strength since it's only attached to the card at the head. I colored many birds before choosing this one. Wish you could see the Wink of Stella on the hummingbird! I hope you were able to get A Touch of Ink during the recent Sale-A-Bration. This one will stay in my stash. The beautiful card I cased is by Cheryll Miller and can be viewed here.

Stamps: Forever Blossoms, A Touch of Ink (SAB), Friends Are Like Seashells (sentiment)
Dies: Cherry Blossoms
Punch: Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

I did punch both ends of the sentiment label, but thought the one end was so pretty covered up by the branch.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you'll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Jackie Beers at Blue Line Stamping. Please join us!
