Welcome to
InKing Royalty's July Blog Hop! During this year's blog hops, we are having fun
with our stamping favorites - our favorite themes for seasonal cards and
projects. This month's projects feature Christmas! I hope you are in a Holiday
mood because there is a lot of Christmas fun headed your way. We are excited to
share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you'll hop
over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
This card was fun to make! That is, after I got over the panic of not having a current Christmas stamp set. I spied a Christmas sentiment in Best Year. Bingo! I cased this card by our uber-talented Brian King. Love his CAS (clean and simple) style!
At first I reached for Forever Fern to create a wreath around the sentiment, but used the double leaf stamp from Forever Blossoms instead. They look a bit like laurel leaves! Stamped, embossed and die cut 12 of those. I have been watching a lot of home remodeling shows so thought white brick (painted fireplace) is acceptable and feels homey. Finger-bent the leaves and it was done!
Stamps: Best Year (sentiment), Forever Blossoms (leaves)
Dies: Cherry Blossom (leaves), Tasteful Labels
Misc: Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder
The next stop on the blog hop is Jackie Beers! We're having fun celebrating Christmas in July, please hop along for some inspiration!
