The problem was I needed to fussy cut around the flower, otherwise it would be a too-tight fit when opening and closing the card especially since it is mounted on foam tape. The other problem was the inside sentiment. I had to create an inside flap to cover up the white so the white wouldn't show through when the card was closed. The belly band isn't tight on purpose, to make it easy to slide off and on. This is a birthday card, but looks kinda Christmassy, no? Not sure I'm crazy about the embossing folder for this card, but it looked too plain without it.
I am a huge fan of Jennifer McGuire. Her technique videos are simply the best. I have created this style of card before, but her video simplified the process. Love her work!
